Marbles

The strand that  finally broke the camels back

The wire creaks as gravity is taking up the slack

My brain begins to swell

They said that I was damaged goods

The hole inside my head

They filled with everything they could

But ill never see the end

Of the maze

That we never can escape

Not unless all the marbles drift away

Life will pass you by with increasing speed

But faster still if you try to drive from the passenger seat

My brain begins to swell

The rot will start to settle in

The hole inside my head

I don’t know when my thoughts begin

But ill never see the end

Of the maze

That we never can escape

Not unless all the marbles drift away

Not unless all the marbles drift away
