The Well

This life I was thrown into won’t go to waste

Im sure that ill find the right words someday

Did you think that you had a means of escape?

Im here to remind you of every mistake that you made

Just trying to figure out where I fit in

This race has no starting line I don’t know where to begin

Do you even know why you’re starting at all

You reached the first hurdle don’t hit your head when you fall

Into the well that you always do

You’re already falling, the landing can wait

It seems you’re already too late.

Try to avoid it but can’t look away

The worst isn’t over and I just can’t do this again

You think its safe in the place that you’re hiding

The storm clouds are coming over the horizon

I cant see the future or what It may hold

But I’m doing all the things I have been told to do

Maybe you shouldn’t have been so attached

To all of your sorry dreams there is no chance they can last

Too long the answers they always seem wrong

You’ve already tried it, but can’t bear the weight

It seems you’re already too late.
